I’ve been experimenting with gouache for the first time this week. I was a little turned off by the cost of the tiny tubes of gouache versus the larger tubes of acrylic paint for the same price, but have come to find that a little gouache goes a long way. I’m still trying to get the hang of blending on the page with wet media. The paper in sketchbook moleskine notebooks does not accept wet media very well, so I’ll be trying the paints on different paper this week.
